I love my angels, coffee, butterflies, animals, and a beautifully prepared med-rare steak. I think dark chocolate was created to give us an idea of what love is like before we find it. I think butterflies show us how beautiful it is to run and play and flit and that even though we may not see the purpose behind life’s seemingly random journey, there is a purpose there (even if it’s just to find some sweet nectar in the middle of the beautiful flowers of life).

I wanna be Reckless
It’s for every person who’s ever asked if I have an album. It’s for every person who’s ever encouraged me in my art. It’s for my friends and family who have supported me emotionally through the highs and lows of a this type of journey. It’s for my daughters. I hope that by watching me on my own journey, they will avoid some of the same pitfalls, and they will begin the discovery of who they are much younger than I did.
I hope you learn who you are and how to speak that truth early on so that no one can confuse you along the way.
It is for me. It is for the young me I once was who was somehow convinced that she was too loud, too wild, too free. It’s for the teenage me who learned that there is not “one” me, but many facets and moods. It’s for the twenty-something me who climbed into a box to make others more comfortable.
It’s for the thirty-something year old me, who climbed out of her box, embarked on a journey to rediscover the many facets and moods and to proclaim, “I am a singer. I am a songwriter. I am a woman. I am loud! I am wild. I am free”

Back in the Renaissance, artists and musicians had Patrons who supported them in their arts in exchange for commissioned pieces or in order to support their political or social aspirations. Great artists such as Mozart, Beethoven, and DaVinci were patronized by the church to commission religious pieces.
In recent years, there has been a resurgence of this concept through websites like Patreon, GoFundMe, and other crowdfunding pages have put the opportunity back into the art lovers’ hands. As an artist who thrives not only on the emotional support of my Tribe, but also on the financial support in order to continue performing, I am grateful for such sites where it is possible for you – fans, family, and friends – to help build a net and a network of love, support, and generosity not just for me, but for one another, as well.
